I have seen posts in the forum about trouble uploading images, but I didn't see a resolution, or know if they handled the issue outside of the forum, as I am having trouble.
I just installed DNN 4.5, and need a photo gallery. I installed this nice photo gallery here, and it looks like it should do everything I want it to.... Great Job! I add a photo gallery and it creates the directory just fine. I look on the server and see the gallery directory was created, I figure I am well on the way. I then go to add a file to the gallery (logged in as portal admin), and everything seems ok, it asks a few questions and has a browse button for uploading the file. I select a .jpg image and click to upload, and the page reloads and at the bottom it shows me I have a file pending, ready for upload, with a link that reads "upload". I click this "upload" link and it takes minute and the page reloads and is blank. I look on the server and I see no file was uploading into the gallery directory. I go to the front end photo gallery page and it is empty.
I think my permissions are ok on the server directories. I looked through the forum and found some people with similar issues, but not sure if there was a resolution. Does this module not work with DNN 4.5+? More than likely I am doing something wrong, so if you have a comment on something I should be doing to make this work, I would appreciate it to hear it.
