Hi Everyone,

I created a security role called "membership" and charge a monthly fee for it.  The user is directed to paypal from the Membership Services -> subscribe link.  After the user pays they are brought back to my site but the user account is not updated with the new role and the subscribe link is still active beside the "membership" role.

In paypal I enabled IPN and tried a few urls (see below) for the notify url value, but nothing is updating the ipn.  What am I missing?  What can I do?

Thanks

Sandra

I'm not 100% IPN works (see http://forums.asp.net/1145329/ShowPost.aspx for more). Theres 2 links in that post for smcculloch.net, where Scott outlines his setup for succesfully running subscription sites.

Hi Cathal,

I tried those links and set it up like he mentioned but he does not mention the IPN Notification URL for paypal.  I read in some forums to leave it blank and others to point it to the dnn site, but no one mentions the solution. hmmmmmmmm......

Thanks.

Sandra
