Any ideas? My latest install is doing the same thing.

I had the same problem,  It occured when I placed two feedback modules on the same page.  When I filled out the required email field for one of the modules it prompted me to enter a valid email in the other feedback module.  I was able to get around the problem by modifing the Page_Load event source:

valEmail1.ValidationGroup = "FeedbackForm" & ModuleId
valEmail2.ValidationGroup = "FeedbackForm" & ModuleId
cmdSend.ValidationGroup = "FeedbackForm" & ModuleId

However, when you turn on Captcha for the module it requires validation in both, and the Captcha control does not have a ValidationGroup property.
