From the module I developed I would like to generate log message visable in the Log viewver (table dbo.EventLog) ?

That's great (I'm crazy DNN is so good) ... But how to create a new EventMessageType... I didn't understand how to use the method AddLogType() ...

I don't know if you can create more event log types. I just use the ADMIN_ALERT

e.g.

 Dim _ec As New DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog.EventLogController()

 _ec.AddLog("PDM_Tasks", "Trying to open the AMS purchaseorderheader table", Me.PortalSettings, -1, Log.EventLog.EventLogController.EventLogType.ADMIN_ALERT)

Where "PDM_Tasks" is the module name.
