Very quick answer to teh first part: To manage Friendly URL, go to Host Settings, expand Advanced Options, expand Firnedly URLs and check off the checkbox.

Why don't you just change your Reset link from that whole thing to just the domain name of the site? It will most likely work.

Wow, turning off the friendly names worked! Thanks a lot! I certainly appreciate the help. Obviously I’ll have to read more about URL rewrites, HTTP modules, and DNN friendly names. Can you hazard a guess as to why friendly URLs might cause this problem? It seems as if the Flash movie and the DNN web framework are fairly independent although obviously not that independent! I am sure setting the Reset to just the domain name would also work.

Thanks,

I am pretty sure that if your Reset link woudl point just to domain name, it would've resolved the issue. I am willing to bet that your photo gallery is using relative urls to the image files and, since url after clicking Reset has something like yoursite.com/Reset/tabid/123/Default.aspx, relative pathing is not working correctly.

Friendly URLs are super important for SEO. I suggest trying out my suggestion about Reset before deciding not to use Friendly URLs feature.

Yes I’ll give that a try but Reset is actually just renamed from home (didn’t want two homes) so it is part of the SolPart menu. Can I force a button on the SolPart menu to just be the domain URL? I would have to override some code, correct?

Thanks,
G. M.
