Is there a comprehensive list of DNN wiki features?

A good base would be a comparison to the Confluence wiki package.

 

  • Pages
    • Users can watch a page for changes
      • Email alert of page changes sent to the user
  • Spaces
    • Allows for independent groups
    • Each space has its own administration
  • News
    • Allows for blog postings
    • Confluence can be an RSS consumer or producer
      • Get news from outside sites
  • Mail
    • All mail is threaded
    • All mail is indexed
    • All mail is searchable
      • Even mail attachments are searchable
    • Mail is never lost
  • Attachments
    • All attachments are searchable
  • Comments
    • All comments are searchable
  • Organisation
    • Pages are kept organized in tree structure (parent - child relationship between pages)
    • Orphaned pages are not lost
      • They can easily be found and put into the tree
  • Search
    • Just type in the word or words
      • Every single word in the entire site is searched
        • This includes page content, emails, comments, attachments, etc...
    • Advanced Search available as well
      • Narrow down the search
