Well there are a couple of things that could be causing that.

1.) Too high of memory usage per the server configuration
2.) A buggy module....
3.) A slow responding SQL Db...

Mitchel, thanks for the continued support.
It does not look like it is a memory issue.
To improve my site’s performance, I was using memory for module caching, and heavy caching as the performance setting.
I went back to disk caching to check the memory theory, but it did not make a difference.
I have no idea how to check if the DB is slow.
As for modules: I am using FAQs 04.04.00, Feedback 04.04.01, News Feeds (RSS) 03.01.01, Repository 03.01.13, Text/HTML 04.05.00, UsersOnline 03.01.00, and a commercial module I bought called Tek Glossary 01.20.00 from thetek.com.

This is very interesting.

DO you have the search engine scheduler running?  If so what is the frequency?

Also, now many pages do you have in your site (approx)

The search scheduler is set to every 30 minutes, with retries every 60 minutes. Following your suggestion, I tried to disable it to see if it has any effect, but the application continued to shutdown in the same manner.

In total I have about 14 pages in the 3 portals I have on this DNN host application.

At this point I am not sure, what I would recommend is if you are on a hosted server to contact the hosting provider to see if they have any idea why it is shutting down so often.
