Looking at the code in eventnotification.vb, how is this valid across timezones??   The startDate is set to UTCnow, and is then sent to the stored proc whose data in table dbo.EventsNotification is all set to local times.   Is this me?? because this seems wrong..  How would it send then notification at the correct time if let's say timezone offset is +2, the data in table will not be less than UTCNow and therefore no rows would come back.

Thanks for any help..
Gust...

Gust...this is a shot at sending notifications.  In order to completely compensate for TimeZones there are a lot of  issues that must be resolved in DNN (Not in the Events Module).  First, DNN must support DST Offset Calculations...  Second DNN Personalization needs to support Anonymous users (if they are allowed to receive notifications for their TimeZone).   So, I guess what I'm saying the module can't support the level of detail you desire...  unless you can come up w/a better way.  If so, post the code... we'll gladly incorporate it.

Saying what's wrong is easy...providing a fix that is acceptable to everyone is very difficult!

Thanks favance, agreed, very difficult to put something out there to meet everyone's needs.  If I can come up with something to contribute, I will gladly post.  Thanks very much for your quick response and great work by the way on the module so far!
