I have installed 4.n and everything looks great except that I can find how to upload new skins.  The help says
  1. Navigate to Admin > Skins.
  2. Select Upload Skin from the module menu.
  3. Click the Browse button and select a file.
  4. Click Add to add the file to the file to upload list.
  5. Click Upload New File. Details of the success or failure of the upload will be displayed.
  6. Click Return.

I do 1. but there is no Upload Skin from the module menu.  Did I miss a setting somewhere.

Do you have portal checked in the host settings / advanced  section under skin upload permission?

Thanks for the reply.  I tried to find the setting you mentioned but was unable to locate it.  When I go to the skins screen there isn't anything there about permissions.  Sorry to seem so dumb about this.  Jim

No problem, They can be hard to find sometimes.  :)

log in as Host and then go to HOST  ->  HOST SETTINGS.

Scroll down to ADVANCED SETTINGS and expand that then scroll down again to OTHER SETTINGS.

It's about the ninth option and right below the file upload extentions.  If it's set for host only the host user can upload and if it's set for portal then portal admins and hosts should be able to upload.

Hey just real quick I found a site being promoted by a user here called www.powerDNN.com on their site under help he has a streaming video that will walk you right through the process. One of the core team members also runs a huge skin site with videos on the same thing.  Nina Meyers but I can't rememner the site url for the life of me.
