I have a number of URLs coming to a DNN install: url1.ca, url2.ca, url3.ca as aliases.

url1.ca will point to the DNN Home page url1.ca/default.aspx
url2.ca should point to an internal page like url1.ca/default.aspx?tabid=100
url3.ca should point to an internal page like url1.ca/default.aspx?tabid=200

I can find no documentation on how to do this in SiteURLs.config.

Question: Is this possible using SiteURLs.config?

Thanx

L Douglas

Hi , I am asking for the exact same thing in this thread http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/153273/scope/posts/Default.aspx

So keep a watch on both threads , and if you find a way to do this can you let me know ?

Regards,

Dave.

The article at the following link shows how to do this:

Thanx John, that will be helpful for another item I have to undertake.

I had a quick read and I think I missed named my post. It should have read:
'Redirect a domain to an internal page using SiteURLs.config'.

The inbound URL is only 'url2.ca' redirecting to 'url1.ca/default.aspx?tabid=xxx' or does the aliases treat all inbound URLs as '~'?

Thanx

If you use SiteUrls.config to rewrite to a different host.domain then it will still work, but it will use a 302 redirect instead of just rewriting the url internally.
