I'm a stone-cold newbie to DotNetNuke, so please forgive this question (I couldn't find an FAQ list on the site) --

I am trying to install DotNetNuke on a Win XP Pro platform for the purpose of developing a Web page offline and then uploading it to a hosting site.  WinXP doesn't even recognize the file extensions in the download package.  Installing Microsoft's .NET 2.0 Framework and rebooting didn't help.  What else do I need to install, and where can I get it?
