Hi all,

I have a DNN 4.3.6 installation on a Windows Server 2003 machine [IIS V 6.0, MS SQL Server Management Studio Express, MS SQL 2005]. I am trying to upgrade that installation to DNN 4.5.3 using the "DotNetNuke_04.05.03_Upgrade.zip" file I have downloaded from the site.

I unzip the file over the exesting website directory. Then try to access the http://localhost in Mozilla Firefox v2.0.0.5 then I get the following screen....

Upgrading DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 04.05.03

Current Databses Version: 04.03.05

When I ckick that link, Firefox says ...

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I tried that several times by restoring the old backups of my data base and the directory structure but I still have the same problem.

Any Ideas, Please revert back as soon as possible.

Many Thanks.

Sasmit

I'm having the same issue, any ideas here?

I checked the 04.04.00 log and it shows the following (not very helpful) single entry:

Error: HelpURL

TIA

What I posted earlier is the full contents of the log file. Here it is again:

Error: HelpURL

There is absolutely nothing else in the log file, that's it.
