The time on my forum posts is off. I have it set in Forum administration to pacific time. My site is set to pacific time. Where is the setting off?

Overall I have noticed very "interesting" time differences regardless of what you have set.

What I did with my site is I played with the actual time zone to get it as close as possible.

I have changed all timezone functions, hopefully this will be resolved shortly.

I show incorrect times in the feedback posts, too, so I assumed it was something in the core software and not form-specific?

What I found on this one is that the time of a post is the time as on the SQL server since it is using the 'now()' function from within a stored procedure. As a side point, UsersOnline does this as well.

So, I ended up having a bit of dialogue with my hosting company (Webhost4life) to get it put right. The thing that confused me for a long time was that the time was out by 53 minutes, so it looked like a DST problem. So, depending on what Chris has done in the new version (i haven't tested it on production yet), he may have solved the dependance on the SQl Server.

Just something to look at....

Roger
