I just used WebLog Expert to generate a monthly error report of my site's IIS log.  It said that there were 6 million 404 Page Not Found errors.  Closer examination revealed that IIS is genereating a 404 error for a *.css on every single page request.  Has any body run into a problem like this before.

I think I found my problem.   I was using a <link> tag in each of the skins and containers.  In comparison to the default DNN skins, I realized that they do not contain <link> tags to their specific *.css
