You can make a very simple skin that has no other elements in it, and that is what you would need to get the desired effect if you don't want anything else showing with it.

If you need assistance in building the skin, send me an e-mail and I can try to help you out!

There are several third party modules available to do this. I use an older one called Pop-It-Up. You can find them on snowcovered.com.

You could create a hidden page with the module on it and link to that and specifically set the skin.

What about a modal dialog?  I too am looking for this functionality and believe my needs are within the confines of a modal dialog. View this Ajax demo -- http://ajax.asp.net/ajaxtoolkit/ModalPopup/ModalPopup.aspx -- This would work great for me except I am finding it not cooperating with DotNetNuke (any ideas Mitch?) since the pane it's in ends up having an infinite height and width when it renders. I believe it to be a bug or some incompatibilirt with the skinning engine, but I need a third party to test it out. I created this simple module for the test.

I took the code out because it rendered within the post.
