Background.... how come when I go to edit text the background of the text editor seems to inherit the background of my page... the color at least... When I look at the source view it is white but in the rich text view it is the background color of my page.

Thanks

Correct, that's exactly what it does... why... who knows.
You can work around it however by using both Body and #Body classes in your CSS. Both target the page body, but only Body is picked up by FCK.

As an example.. I use a background graphic to texture a page, but I don't want this to show in the editor, so in my skin.css I go:

#Body{background:url(wallpaper.png)}
Body{color:#999999;background:#000000;font:11px Arial,Helvetica}

FCK will ignore #Body

Rob

Ok I am not sure I follow this... My body looks like this

Body
{
 border-left:0px 0px 0px 0px;
 height:100%;
 margin:0px;
 background-color: #F4F2E5;
 padding-top: 0px;
 padding-right: 0px;
 padding-bottom: 0px;
 padding-left: 0px;
 background-repeat: repeat-x;
 background-position: top;
}

If I define a #Body class with background-color:FFFFFF then it wins in the browser... This is very annoying is there any way to get around this problem that I am having?  The text on the page should not have any background color...
