Please do not post more than one subject in a post. The questions on the Survey should be posted to he Survey forum.

The Survey tutorial no longer works because asp.net ajax caused us to change the "legacy" setting in the web.config so the controls names are not correct. We plan to fix this in the next few weeks. Meanwhile please use these tutorials instead:

  • Super-Simple Module (DAL+)
  • Super-Fast Super-Easy Module (DAL+)

Hello again! I understand what you are saying, but I meant this thread to be a project discussion for my project which is all about extending dotnetnuke. I asked in the first post if this was inappropriate for this forum. Do you think I should move my thread?

PS: This is not meant rude in any way, I just want to know if you think this kind of thread belongs somewhere else. This is the only dotnetnuke forum I have visited.

I understand, it might be better to say that you reported the error on a separate thread and then posted the error on a separate forum thread. Had I not read your post I would have not seen the error.

I will fix the Module Developer's Guide it in the next few weeks. if you discover any further errors please also post them to a separate thread.

Thank you very much! :) That is a good solution. I shall keep posting to this thread about my project in general, and let you know about any problems with the tutorials in the appropriate forum.

I have found out what the next step shall be. I shall now attempt to create a module which lists municipalities from my organizations database. It will be built using C#, even though I have never programmed anything in C# or made my own module for dotnetnuke. I will use the http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/DNN_Things4Sale/ - tutorial as a guide. Excpect more soon!
