Hello guys and thanks for your reply.

I am getting a bit confused here. I 've never had this problem with DNN before. I have created a

special page for user registration because this page contains other modules as well that display information

regarding the registration. When I click on that page through the SolPartMenu, my page appears as it should.

However, when I visit the page through the 'Register' control (part of the skin) then I get a white page with no modules on it.

If I set the 'Register' page to 'none' under the Admin settings, then I get the page I have created with only the 'User account' module on it

and all the rest modules I have created disappear (this makes me think that a special control only is returned and not my page).

If I click now on my menu on the custom registratration page, I see the page with all the modules.

Isn't that weird?

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

You may be having trouble with the other modules on that page.

Having more modules on the page may not be a good idea depending on what they are and if they have their own submit buttons and client-side validation.

It sounds like it is working for you now though.

I had the same issue - it's a bug in DNN 4.5.3 - but I believe it's been logged for fixing in future versions.  Here's the post by vitkoz and corrected by sbwalker - Worked for me!!!

In the file admin/skins/user.ascx.vb, line 142 needs to be changed:

FROM THIS:

Response.Redirect(NavigateURL(PortalSettings.UserTabId,"returnurl=" & ReturnUrl), True)

TO THIS:

Response.Redirect(NavigateURL(PortalSettings.UserTabId, "", "returnurl=" & ReturnUrl), True)
