Problem:

Leaving DNN idle for a period of time (15 - 30 min), user is brought to login in screen.

Help?  Users are authenticated via network domain servers.  We use Active Directory to authenticate the user without a password (i.e. if they can get on the network, then they must be a valid user).  If not found in AD via domainname\username, then access to site denied.  We use Security Roles defined within DNN to control access to pages and modules. Therefore, we don't have the user register so to speak (but we do pull their info into DNN from AD).  If idle for a period of time, clicking a link in DNN brings the user to the User Login page.  We would this to not happen if possible.  We have tried various suggestions such as changing the IIS settings for Worker Process Idle Timeout and Recycle Worker Process (all currently unchecked).  We have changed the timeout values in the web.config, still no luck.  Again, we would to disable this altogether, but any workaround help is appreciated.

We have been able to modify the Singon.ascx and code behind page to consider if the user is a web admin trying to log in as Host, or a normal domain user.  If the latter, the Username, password, and Captcha objects are hidden.  We are able to redirect back to the WindowsSignon.ascx so that user is checked against the AD (which again works great as their name as it is in the AD appears correctly) but the problem here is that the menus on the left don't update and show the areas they have access to -- we have a few that are general purpose and show ok.  So i guess the #2 question is that if the above can't be done, is there a way to force a refresh of the user security roles so the appropriate menus appear?

Thanks.
