Is it possible to configure the folder where a specific instance of the Repository module will store files?

I discovered the option to set the location only when I am logged in with the host account. The most recent documentation available specifically says to login with an Admin account for configuration. It also says you should be able to configure which options users see when they upload files. That option is not visible even when I am logged in as host. I upgraded the module to the latest available today. Are these differences expected in the new version, or is my module not behaving properly?

Log in with Host credentials and look under the Settings for the specific module.

Note to self: Check the moderation queue no matter how much of a hurry you're in.

The documentation is a little bit behind. The location was changed to host only for security reasons. I'm not sure what you mean by configure what options users can see. Can you explain a little bit more?

The document I'm referring to is

Repository Users Guide
Version 3.01.09
Last Updated: April 2, 2006
Category: DotNetNuke v3.x, v4.X

I think I downloaded that from the project's site, but I can't remember. I've been hoarding DNN documentation the last few days.

Re configuring which options users can see, I'm referring to numbered item 9 on page 8 which says:

Select what options you want to be available when a user uploads a file under Upload fields. If just Files is selected a user can only upload files, if just Images is selected then only images can be uploaded, if either Links (URLs) or Image Links (URLs) are selected a user can post a link to an external website when uploading files. (Default is both Files and Images are selected)

There's nothing like that option displayed when I'm logged in with a host or portal admin account.

Also, I have another problem now. I configured the folders where I want repository files to go. They're just sub folders of the standard Repository folder. After changing that, I'm no longer able to upload files to the repository. I can only create links into the repository. It was working originally because I uploaded three files when I first set that module up. Am I supposed to manage folders for the repository with DNN's file manager or can I just create them on my server?

Sorry to ask such seemingly simple questions. I love to be independent with documentation, but I keep finding out-of-date information. I never know whether I'm being a bonehead or have bad instructions. Thanks for the help.
