greetings all, perhaps i'm missing something after reading the documentation and searching the forums. i hope i don't inconvenience anyone with this, but... after installing the gallery module, i set up avatars from within the forums administration (i only set up user and system avatars, not user images or emoticons). this shows me that everything has been modified correctly. i try it out on my own account by clicking on 'my settings' and clicking the magnifying glass next to avatar text box under 'user settings'. i browse to my image, which is 100x100 pixels and under the 1 mb allowed limit. i click upload. i click finished. back in my profile settings, the text box now contains my file name. i click 'update'. if i try to view any of my posts, they will NOT have my avatar attached to them. if i go straight back into my settings, that text box will be empty.

i know i must be doing something wrong. help! :) thanks in advance.

I have not looked into this yet, but if it is not getting saved it is something on the update sproc.

I am guessing if there is a problem it is in the code and not the sql.
