Hi all !

I recently installed DNN 4.02 and the actual BLog module. Then one of the clowns came across and left the following code in the subject : <script> alert("Hello world!")</script> and "<script> alert("Hello world!")</script>" in the message body. I think you can imagine what happend when someone was trying to read the comment.

What can I do about this ?

TIA
Meinhard

Hm, not sure why this problem exists but it exists (I'm sure the problem was already fixed in an earlier version )!

To solve the problem for the existing entry, delete the comment.

For security reason you can enable the approval system for comments.

I will change this for the next version.

regards

HP

By curiosity I had to test it in the forum module and I got the "hello world" box popping up here as well.

Someone posted this question in the Forums forum a few weeks ago. Same script and everything.

It's a problem that should probably be taken care of in the core along with the bad word filtering.
