Currently, the only way to get RSS on the events module is to enable Syndication through DotNetNuke which relies on the searchengine scheduler.

So my RSS feeds don't change in real time with the events module, and when the dates for the events have passed, they still show up in the RSS feed.

I'd like to see an RSS feed enabled that comes straight out of the Events module and works in real time.

HI all,

Do you think that the RSS features will be improved in the next "4.0" version ??

Thanks in advance

Hi Delfo,

It is not the intention of the team to provide RSS support in version 4.0.0. Any current support is accidental, rather than by design therefore adding support would be seen as a new feature. The intention of 4.0.0 is as a bug fix release. RSS is being considered for 4.1.0, so if you could also add the request on Gemini at http://support.dotnetnuke.com then the request won't get lost , but as always there are no guarantees as to when/if new features will be added.

Cheers
Roger
