I have an application that authenticates against the same source that my DNN portal authenticates against.  If a user is logged onto my application and if they click a link to access the DNN portal, I want them to be automatically logged in to my portal without having to login again.  How can I accomplish this?  The other application is not a .NET application.

Thanks

Most likely you will need to create a page that you can pass parameters to to then log the user into your website.

Alternatively, check out SW.AutoLogon.  It allows logging in to DNN through a link or HTTP post.

Thank you.  If you haven't already, you are welcome to register for a free trial and check it out on your own.  My personal favorite modes are the LinkButton (locked down to my ip address and put on a "hidden" page) to log me in quickly, and the LoginSwitcher to quickly switch between users and check my security stuff.  I use the AD stuff at my "day job", and the querystring/http post methods were written because somebody else needed it for their purposes.

BTW, how are you coming on your licensing things with that link I sent you?
