Hi guys.  I'm running a large implementation with a lot of custom modules (but non-modified core).  I have about 178 portals on the site.  When a new portal is added the process times out and the site does not get created.  We have had to create an external process to create portals.  Currently we only create a very small site using DNN then create the rest of the pages with a windows process.  The site is on very high end hardware and the db is on a separate dedicated box.  I'm becoming concerned that DNN (3.1.1 for your info) will not be able to handle to many more portals.  But from what I have seen on here, that is not supposed to be the case.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to speed up DNN and if there are consultants out there that can be hired to help with my problem (only looking for skilled large-install consultants).  Please help.

I would seriously look towards upgrading to AT LEAST 4.4.1 due to the performance enhancements
