Thanks Barry, I will take a look at these. I already use products from both these companies, but did not realize they have these particular products. This should get me pointed in the right direction.

Actually if you are just trying to share users across portals in the same install there is a trigger that you can use to do this.  I do not have the direct link, but do a search for DNN user trigger and you should be able to locate it.  I noticed that the 'modules' you can purchase seem to be too cumbersome and cause issues.  The trigger has worked perfectly for me.
