I Need to have by default all Profile of my users visible. I set "Default Profile Visibility Mode" in "User Settings" to "All Users", but still after that new users that register has Visibility "Admin only" by default.

Tested on 4.5.4 and 4.5.5

Am I doing something wrong?

I too need all profiles visible by default.  If "Default Profile Visibility Mode" is set to "All Users" then only the 'required fields' in the user profile are displayed.  If non-required fields have any data in them, they are still not displayed in the public profile.  This was not an issue until 4.5.x and 4.6.x.  All users created before we upgraded to 4.5.x do not have this problem.  All of their profile fields display for all users.

Why does the "Default Profile Visibility Mode" not work?  It's a huge issue for my organization's website and I can't even find any documentation on it.  This is one of two threads in all the forums that even mention it.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Found a fix? Can point me in the right direction?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Has anyone got a fix for this.

This is still an issue/bug and I've just tested it with the newest version 4.8.0, still not working as it is supposed to?
