Hello,

I am new to DNN and I went through this forum to resolve my questions regarding the content localization.

Even though i was a bit confused whether content localization is currently available or not, I will assume that it is not and move on to my next question.

Using a third-party product to support content localization:

      1) What happens on DNN version upgrade?

      2) How does the localization work for other third-party modules that might be used?

It is important to know how I can currently resolve the localization issue and also when it is planned to include this in the core modules.

Best regards,

Joanna

ad 1) modules shall continue to work or need to be upgraded as well. The leading providers of solutions for multilingual portals, Apollo and Tiendaboliviana are run by core team members, that are involved in upgrades, and other providers like DotNetNuke.dk or portalfabrik.net are known to update frequently as well.

ad 2) the will not be affected. You can use any 3rd party module, that does not need ML content or has its own options for it.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
