The spacing that occurs between each Announcement is quite substantial. I do not see away to tighten it up.

The announcement module uses a template that can be modified in the settings for each module. If you need to change it for the whole portal use the languages editor.

Thanks hooligannes. Would it be an imposition to inquire as to which specific setting this would be? For the module on just one page, I do not see the spacing in the Template section in the Module's  Announcement Settings. This is what is there and in it I do not see a spacing parameter:

<table><tr><td>[IMAGESOURCE]</td><td valign="top"><span class="SubHead">[TITLE] - [PUBLISHDATE]</span><div class="Normal DNN_ANN_Description">[DESCRIPTION]&nbsp;<a href="[URL]" target="[NEWWINDOW]">[MORE]</a></div><br></td></tr></table>

Any further help would be most appreciated.

The table in this template introduces some spacing and is intended as an example of what you can do with the template. It is possible to control the display of announcements with the applied template. So you may modify it to use div or span tags and even apply some css to achieve even more granular control. The template is injected into a datalist at runtime.

Thanks again hooligannes. I must admit to a certain ignorance in regard how to manipulate the template. I am good at mimicking once I have something in front of me, however. So would it be an imposition to ask for a sample as to how to tighten up the spacing. the Announcement Module is on the page here: http://www.ducc.ca/via/

Hopefully it demonstrates well enough the excessive space between each announcement. My hope is that it could just be one hard return (not sure if that is the right term, but I hope it makes sense?). If there is a way I can insert the spacing into the template, I would be most grateful for any direction you have time to offer.
