To learn how multiview controls works, I made a very simple module. It has one multiview control that consists of three views. Each view has a label and two buttons to use for navigating to the other views. This module is on a page by itself; there are no other modules. It works perfectly when I'm logged in as host or admin, but it doesn't work (i.e. the buttons cause a postback, but nothing happens) when I'm not logged in.  It also doesn't work if I'm logged in as a user in some other group; only host and admin are okay. The page has no permissions (i.e. it's set to "all users"), and the module is set to inherit from the page. Am I missing something basic???

this is a major gotcha in module development. Set the cache for the module to 0

I'm relatively new to DNN, so I have no idea of how to set the cache. Is it done programatically? Thanks for any help.

Please excuse my last post. I found the cache setting, set it to 0, and now everything's working correctly. Thanks very much for your help.
