ok I having difficulties with some of out DNN portals  I cand seem to delete some portals,  when I look at the logs I can see some errors associated with some of the module in the portal such as

besided the fact the the module shouldnt be causing such a problem how to I fixt this problem?  I dont have access the portal because the module is crashing the portal, so how do I clean it up from the back end?

help pleasew urgent

Jim,

It appears that this issue is related to an issue with the core DNN announcements module, you could try to update the fiels for that module and see if that resolves the error.

Otherwise you might have to remove the module via the database, which is a bit ugly to do

Did you make any changes just before this error started to occur?

Well I cant access the portal, so I have to remove the module from the portal, so how do I do that?

Well you will basically need to start clearing out the data for the module.

Typically you start with the tabmodules table and work backwards removing the records.

Be sure that you take a backup of your site first!!
