First up I hope this is right forum to post in.

We're using DNN as a wrapper for another app and use it for user management. So my question is basically "How do timezones work in DNN(4.4.1)?"
Is it simply an offset or does it talk to the .net timezones? Also, is it sophisticated enough to take into account daylight savings and the like? We'd like to use DNN to manage users' timezone but would probably want more than just an offset.

Cheers,

Dan

DotNetNuke timezones are stored as offset to GMT/UTC (in minutes, you can edit them in host :: languages menu item) and are not bound to .Net time zones.

Besides, there is currently no support for daylight saving time (DST), this feature is still in design state.

Cheers from Germany,
