We just published our Portal Managed Desktop Modules tool on Snowcovered and in the DNN Marketplace.  Have you ever wanted to hide certain modules from page editors on your customers' portals?  With this tool you can be managing who sees what in just a few seconds.  The Premium modules settings work fine for controlling what portals see modules, but what if you want to control what ROLE has access to a module from the control panel?  Portal Managed Desktop Modules is your solution!

With support from DotNetNuke version 4.00.00 to 4.05.05, you will find the installation of our product very easy.  Just pick the version you need (4 versions are provided to handle all of the 4.XX releases),  Follow the 3 step installation process and you're up and running.  We've spent a lot of time on making sure you can easily disable the tool ,if you need to, and uninstalling is also a snap!

After you install, you can control any page editor's visibility to Modules from the Control Panel modules drop-down list.  The management console is installed as a Host tab control panel which is easy to use.  Just pick a role and a module and add it to your managed modules list.

You can control visibility by universal role names which apply to all portals or you can have granular control by roles within a portal.
