I'm about to start a new project to create an intranet portal web site. It seems that my two options are Rainbow Portal and DNN. Could anyone give me a quick comparison between the two?

I used Rainbow for 2 years until they released an upgrade which broke everything and I tried to get help. The developers, I think ,are very skilled but in those days they did not like to talk to ordinary users and after beating my head against a brick wall for several months I eventually came to DNN. I think a lot of the developers left and it seems to be more or less a one man show these days.

I read that the underlying architecture of Rainbow is more elegant than DNN but I wouldn't know the difference -I just know that DNN does everything I need it to and that it is far, far easier to get help here than on the Rainbow site.

Cheers, John
