Hi

Ok, i have built a html table with its own styles outside of the FCKEditor. If i paste in the html the styles do not render. I have aslo specified in the Custom editor settings>Editor area Css;my own css file which i have uploaded to the root of my portal. But when i reload the page still the styles do not render.

They aslo do not appear when i dropdown the styles combobox in the fckeditor.

Does anyone know how to do this

thanks

Hi Albert,

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

If you just want to be able to paste in a bunch of HTML that you have created and styled in an external editor then you must ensure that the styles are either inline with the tags or are specified nearby and included in what you paste in. I'm going to paste a table styled both ways in below and then I'll switch to source and paste the same code in so we can see the results:

<style type="text/css">
.style1{color:#FF0000;}
</style>
<table border="1" style="background-color:silver;width:150px">
 <tr>
  <td class="style1">hello</td>
 </tr>
</table>

And now pasted into the source here:

hello

 It comes up perfect here, but the forum may still screw it up after I submit it... let's see...

If you're talking about something else, then provide some further details if you can.

Rob
