Hi, for political reasons too long to explain our client is going from one ISP to another, but this new one doesn't have SQL Server 2005 support, it only has SQL Server 2000, so we have to migrate or DNN from an SQL Server 2005 to an SQL Server 2000, from a db point of view it should be no problem at all (that is, if no 2005 specific features are involved) but DNN seems to keep itself locked believing it has an SQL Server 2005 server.

Is it possible to do this migration ???

As far as I know it is NOT possible to do a direct restore FROM 2005 to 2000 on the SQL Server side.

YOu might have to manually copy over objects and have it work that way.

As for DNN you can change databases without any troubles, just be sure that you have updated the connection strings to point to the new DB.
