Hi,
Frequently people are placing the same modules in all pages, for example in some side bar.
In DNN this is done by marking the option "Display on all pages" under module settings.

After marking this option, the module is being displayed in all pages. But if later i change
the module setting (for example , the container of the module) it's not being changed on all pages.
Now i have to change the module setting in 20 pages...

Is there an option to synchronize module setting across all pages the module appear in?
Thanks.

johnyG,

Unfortunately -- (i think) -- the best way to accomplish this is to mark the module as not appearing on all pages, then make the change, and update that module to appear on all pages again. Its an extra step for sure -- but because the module settings are duplicated for each instance of the module - -this is the only way I know of of getting around it -- unless you want to manually update the database.

hope that helps,

Ian

p.s. -- everyone: if there is a "more appropriate" way of doing this -- please let me know.
