Hi,

I have been using ddn for about 4days now (so I am a complete noob) however everything was going fine until this happened.

I had left my browser open in edit mode for around 30mins without touching it and as soon as I went to click on one of my links I got a time out message.

Well I thought this was okay, but when I logged back on everything was erased from my edit mode all my modules and tables etc, yet for some reason it is all still appearing in view mode. I have tried restarting, logging in and out  and giving it some time but it doesn't come back.

Is there anyway that I can fix this problem and get what is in view mode back in edit mode?

Thanks.

Also if this helps narrow the problem a little I cannot edit anything anymore, all I can select is to import and export content

Exact same thing happened to me.  Not sure if it happened on timeout or not, but the symptom matches to the letter.  View mode is fine, Edit Mode content is missing and only have access to module settings and import/export.  All actual items in the content area are gone.

Database is intact.

Version 4.5.5.

Seems to be tied to a particular user account.  We created a new Host account and using that account removes the problem.

Sound like you are in Design Mode.
