I've just switched over to .net 2.0 and am trying to figure out how to get dotnetnuke to use Partial Compilation (i.e. i only want to put the dll's/ascx/aspx files onto the server not all the source files).

I've been looking around but can't find out where/how to do this.  Can somebody please explain. thanks.

I couldn't see anything of intereset in the above links. Hooliganes, what am i meant to be looking out for?

The closest i got was a reference to PreCompiledApp.config which gets deployed when you publish a web site.

It looks like DNN is somehow set to be "updateable" meaning the source code is deployed to a server and compiled at runtime.

I'd like not to deploy the source code especially my module code, instead i only want to deploy the compiled dll and relevant aspx/ascx files.

I would have thought there would be a web.config setting or IIS setting to tell the application to use compiled dll's instead of trying to compile the source code at runtime?
