hallo,

i'm trying to give some styles at the solpartmenu, and as far as I understood there are two ways of doing this: in the xml file and in the stylesheet editor. The problem I have is that the styles I give through the xml file do not apply at all. For example:

<Object>
   <Token>[SOLPARTMENU]</Token>
   <Settings>
      <Setting>
         <Name>backcolor</Name>
         <Value>#666666</Value>
      </Setting>
      <Setting>
          <Name>fontnames</Name>
          <Value>arial</Value>
      </Setting>
   </Settings>
</Object>

Won't render what I expect: a menu using arial and a grey background. I could achieve these styling in the stylesheet editor, though. But there are some styles that I cannot set there, so I wonder what is wrong in my xml file. The thing I would like to achieve is to have the menu_item of the current page with a different style then the items linking to other pages of the site. Does anyone can give suggestions? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I think you should examin some free skins done in HTML or the default skins to see how it is done.

the values are classes that are in your skin.css.

The documentation is higher level explanations of what you can and canot have in your xml file. But to get there quickly your best bet is to examin some fee skins.
