hi, how do I customiser the error pages shown by DNN when the site times out and Similar?

 I know how to customiser http errors in llS but cant find DNN specific files.

i found this article to be very concise: http://aspnetresources.com/articles/CustomErrorPages.aspx

Also: if your database times out a lot, maybe you should have a look at that too then. Is the size of your db very large? This can be caused by lots of records in the eventlog table (you can check quickly how many records your eventlog table has by entering this query in Host > SQL and select "Execute" (do not check "run as script"):

select count(*) from {objectQualifier}EventLog

If the timeouts are caused by a slow connection to your db server, you could also try increasing the db timout in the connectionstring, see for more info on that on msdn: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.data.sqlclient.sqlconnection.connectiontimeout.aspx

thanks for the information but I really want to know how to configure the DotNetNuke specific error pages and not general .net ones

can anyone please help?
