Hi users,

I don't know if a post like this has already been created, if so I do apologize.

I'm trying to use Ajax controls within a dotnetnuke installation, version 4.5.4 and I'm not having any luck.

From what I can gather is that the core renders a ScriptManager when compiled, which should allow all other Ajax controls to be run, but in my case it just does not work. Specifically, I"m trying to use an Accordion as a menu structure, but when trying to expand and collapse this in the browser, nothing happens. Searches on Google returned absolutely no meaningful results and the company that I'm working for is not looking at buying any thirdparty applications to make this work.

I'm relatively new to DNN, so I have absolutely no idea where to start troubleshooting, so any help on this would really be appreciated.

Regards,

Eric

These may help (however some ASP.NET AJAX Control toolkit controls may not work with DotNetNuke. However most do and I use them every day);

  • Creating A DotNetNuke Module using ASP.NET AJAX
  • More DotNetNuke AJAX Functionality (VB & C#)
  • DotNetNuke ASP.NET AJAX Web Service (VB &C#)
  • DotNetNuke Secure ASP.NET AJAX Web Service
  • Using the ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit
