Hello all

I'm inserting a module where I don't want the pane to be editable, nor have the pane-name visible when someone with edit rights is signed in. Is there a straightforward way to insert a module as a skin object into a skin, rather than by using a content pane?

Thanks for any pointers on this

Rob

unless the module is a hybrid, it cannot be inserted as skinobject. Having said that, you maybe you should have a look at my MLSkinHelper module, it lets you put editable text anywhere in your skin (editing is done by an admin module). More info on my site.

Thanks for the reply Erik, I'll check the module out.

I'm beginning to think it'd be real handy if there were an interface in DNN for the content pane parameters. I'd like to be able to set panes as visible or not, set a default container per pane, set insertion permissions and so on. hmmm might be one for Gemini
