Hello,

I have upgraded from 4.5.1 to 4.5.5
Everything is perfect, excepted when I try to add a module "Google Adsense" in my pages.
I have the error message inside the module container:

Error: Adsense is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The file '/Admin/Vendors/Adsense.ascx' does not exist. ---> System.Web.HttpException: The file '/Admin/Vendors/Adsense.ascx' does not exist. at System.Web.UI.Util.CheckVirtualFileExists(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I have checked the package DotNetNuke_04.05.05_Upgrade.zip and no file like this exists in the package.... Strange.
Can someone send me the missing files please ? Could you check the package DotNetNuke_04.05.05_Upgrade.zip ??

DV,

You can use the install package to overlay and replace the files.

Just be sure to keep your existing working web.config when you push the new files over it.

I am surprised that the "upgrade package" is not complete. I have downloaded again the package, and I have decompressed it locally, I do not find any traces of this  Adsense.ascx file... Maybe I am dumb or silly, but the DNN 4.5.5 package is not complete neither, I do not find any trace of the admin/Vendors/Adsense.ascx file...
Can someone confirm ??? Or my zip program does strange things ??? Or I have a cache problem ??? Or this file is created during installation ????

Mitchell, should I unzip the WHOLE install package over my existing installation ?? Or just the files "needed" ? But in this case, are they other files missing than this one, I can not know. How could I know which files are missing ???

DV,

You can unzip the entire package over your current install.  It shouldn't cause any problems.  As long as you have a copy of your web.config as the install package does have a web.config file in it!

Ok Mitchel, but have you checked the current DNN 4.5.5 available ???
If you unzip it, you won't find the file I am talking about... /Admin/Vendors/Adsense.ascx

Is it correct ???? Strange, isn't it ???
