If you create a link to a page...  it always puts this

LinkClick.aspx

Is it possible to set the Source Anchor..   in other words the link text that the html displays...   seems odd I cannot find out where in the ui to do that.

thanks...   I do that..  but this is going on the intranet to non computer types...     this means they would have to open the page they want to link to, copy that, paste it in the link.    Not user-friendly....

Is the answer, you cant do it..    and then if so, seems unusual since that is not anything unusual...

you might try using a commercial editor like RAD editor, that might add support for anchors - but I doubt, that it will come with a list to select from, because it would need to process the whole target page otherwise

Im not talking about anchors..  that was the w3c term..

Im talking about when you create a hyperlink, why is there no way to specify the 'text to display'..  that it puts linkclick.aspx all the time...

so if I want to link here

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/ctl/PostEdit/mid/2108/forumid/127/postid/159214/action/reply/Default.aspx

but have it be this:

click here to read the page ...       you cant do that through the editor ui (even frontpage has it :)
