at the minute it's going through the release tracker. I finished the security audit last night, which took at while thanks to the massive amount of work Chris has done. Hopefully it'll go through the rest of the process soon enough.

Nice list of enhancements; given that Active hasn't responded to a single email, moderated forum post, posts in these forums, etc, I am going to hold off on purchasing their enterprise version and try the new DNN core forums!  :)

...loved this change:  "FOR-4117 - Removed Gallery Integration Project." I fell out of grace with the man upstairs when trying to configure the gallery to work like I wanted it. :)

Bump...

I'm trying to be patient about this release, and I really hate to complain as I'm well aware that this is a free product written by volunteers, but forums 4.0X is starting to be the "DukeNukem Forever" of DNN modules.  Release tracker hasn't changed in 9 days, so it's either not being updated (rendering it useless) or there isn't any headway being made on the release.

I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that the Forums modules is pretty important to a lot of DNN users out there, so I guess it just suprises me that there doesn't seem to be any real urgency to get this module through the release process.

If some show stopper bugs have come up and things need to be reworked that's fine (I understand that everyone wants this release to be stable) but it would be nice if this was communicated here, or on the project blog page, or in release tracker where people look for this info.

Sorry for the frustrated post, but like many people I'm really anxious to have an updated forum module.   :(

I'm excited to see all of the changes coming in this release.  Chris has done an amazing job.

Just wondering, it seems like most of the projects in release tracker including this one have "stalled"  is there something that we as the community can do to help move this process forward?

The Forum Module is since 9 Days in Process release.  We have to wait it passed the release process. You can look at the Release Tracker.

Matthias
