I have post that are turning up in Google and Yahoo that really are not need and make out company look immature. The company name was used in several post and I am trying to figure out how to delete them or turn that ability off.

With Google you can use http://www.google.com/webmastertools to remove pages from their index.

The easiest and fastest way to fix something like that is to just change the content on the page that it is linked to from the search results.  You could also just remove it altogether and the search engines will remove it after getting a 404.

If you do not own the site that it is on then you'll have to go through the site owner.

Another thing to note is that typically google will cache content and that can take a fair amount of time to be cleared.
