Tom,

first check your database, do a backup and truncate transaction log, this shall free up most of the memory used. second truncate Eventlog and other extensive Tables (sitelog, ScheduleHistory).

Sebastian,

thanks for your speedy reply. Don't ask me why, but all of a sudden trancating the EventLog table worked. I'll purge the other mentioned tables as well. Restarting the app works now fine again without the above listed error message. Strange...

I'll definately move with my site to an own server machine with rdp so I'll get my hands directly on the database.

Thanks again for your hints, the problems seems to be solved (gone) now!

Tom.

The error means that the filegroup that the database servers databases are being stored on has filled i.e. the harddrive is full. This is a problem for your hosting provider most likely and not you, unless you have a dedicated sql server. You can probably get some free space by performing a full database backup, but it will be filled up again by your and the other databases sharing the harddrive - until either a larger harddrive is added or additional filegroups or some of the other databases are moved to alternative file groups.

Hi Cathal,

thanks for your answer. I will definately move my site to it's very own hardware, with nothing else then me on it.

I have also just disabled the event logging which consumed 1.74GB allthough the purge event log scheduler was enabled.

With having direct rdp access to my own database I don't think I will run in such problems again.

Regards, Tom.
