I am not sure what I might have done, but now many of my portals are showing a similar message and the skins are not loading and the plain blue DNN skin is loading.

I am just starting to investigate, but thought I would post something to see if this is a well-know issue..

Could Not Load Skin: /Portals/10/Skins/CovenantCare/CCAdmin.ascx Error: C:\HostingSpaces\tfn\theforerunnernetwork.com\wwwroot\Portals\10\Skins\CovenantCare\CCAdmin.ascx(151): error BC30560: 'admin_skins_links_ascx' is ambiguous in the namespace 'ASP'.

From what I have found, it seems that all the skins on this DNN install that use the Links skinobject are experiencing this issue. I have other DNN installs with skins that have the Links skinobject and there are not any problems with them.

In looking at the log, these errors started showing up in the last 6 hours and I was gone during all this time and have not updated any websites or anything else on my dedicated server.

Thanks for any help that anyone can provide. I have restarted the app and the webserver. No success yet.

UPDATE: I decided to just try an upgrade from 4.4.1 to 4.5.5 and that seems to have taken care of the problem. Now I just have to go in a redo all the Search objects in the skins to make them work. I was postponing an upgrade because I did not want to have to deal with the Search issues right away, but I guess I would rather deal with Search issues than have the Skins totally not displaying.
