I'm following along in Nick Symmonds DNN 4.0 Web Creation book - I've successfully installed VB, VWD, etc. (all express editions) Also double clicked on the file DotNetNuke.vscontent, and it did its thing. BUT, when I then go to VWD to complete the installation, i.e., setup new website, to the http location (using IIS), I get the following two errors:

1. (nonfatal) "The file Blog_03.03.00_Install.resources could not b found within the project templates. Continuing to run, but the resulting project may not build properly."

2. (fatal) "Unable to create the Web 'http://localhost/DotNetNuke Website'. The Web server does not appear to have the FrontPage server extensions installed."

This is all under Vista. Please help!!

Thanks!

I would ensure that you have installed all IIS 6 compatability items, as well as ensure that the virtual directory you are using is set to use the "Classic App Pool"
